MY CARDIAC CATHERIZATION EXPERIENCE

• I was admitted in the hospital


• I was with heplock


• Submit to different tests like blood test and urine test


• Fasting ( no food, water and everything)


• I was IV


• I took valium (sedative) and benadryl ( anti-histamine)


• They took me to the cath lab


• My anesthesiologist started to inject the general anesthesia and there's nothing more that I could remember .


• When I woke up I was with catheter, IV, Oxygen and 2 heavy sand bag on my groin to stop the bleeding on my groin.


• I have 2 very small wounds on my groin and very big hematoma on my groin.


• The recovery is so quick 24 hours after the procedure I could stand and slowly walked.


• My doctor came and explained what happened.


• Went home
